yarn tip
hmm if anybody is interested i see there is some army girl duet yarn available over at a swell yarn shop. i know it is hard to get a hold of so i thought i would help enable.
that's all. been a weird week. some stuff is going on with my job and so i haven't been spending money on condo stuff like i want. it won't come down to me losing my job, but it does put me in a weird position with little career advancement opportunities. and a lot of flying to wisconsin. i should know a little more next week, but i would be surprised if the outcome is in my favor (things stay as they are and an empty position on my team is filled in seattle instead of wisconsin). jobs just aren't reliable anymore are they? nothing is stable, nothing is guaranteed. it doesn't help i work in a volatile field, but still.
of course i tend to shop when i get a bit down so maybe i will spend some money this weekend! anyhoo, go get that army girl before it is gone!!

I'm so sorry you've had a rough week! Definitely treat yourself nicely this weekend. :)
Aren't you in the design field. I am and I just started working from home full time freelancing and man it is hit and miss in the beginning. A tad bit scarry.
Blech! That totally sucks. I'm sorry to hear that things aren't going so well. I know how hard it is to find a good job these days...something that I'll have to do again when I'm out of school. Since I'm an older student (we like to call them re-entering ;) I am sort of used to it, but I think that knowing what it will be like scares me more. Hang in there - I'm sending you good job thoughts.
Oh - and just today I was thinking to myself, "Hey. I should go get me some of that Army Girl yarn. GTBG's socks were so cute in that colorway!" Unfortunately we racked up too much on credit card and we are one of those weird couples who never leaves a monthly balance. So we have some catching up to do. Hey, if I can avoid the Swell Yarn Shop, you can avoid shopping until you are more stable. No one wants to see stress shopping - it is not a pretty sight! ;)
Fingers crossed that things will work out in your favor! And hey, let the retail therapy help...hehehe.

You are right, about no reliable jobs - my brother, myself and a friend all lost jobs/contracts that we thought were fairly stable last week, and we all work at different places! Happy shopping :)

I hope things work out for you career wise. I know how stressful that can be! And I also know how shopping can lift the spirits a bit! Nothing like a good yarn purchase.
