tv, tour and winner (not in that order)
sarah over at knitting bee was the only one to guess the correct answer. at 10 pm i put down the needles and measured. 70.75 inches long! congrats! email me with your address so i can send the prize! (amyATgoodtobegirlDOTcom)

terrible shot, but i wanted to give you a bit of proof showing just how long it is. i am soo close. yeah! i think reducing the pattern by 12 stitches is a fantastic way to make this a quicker knit.
maybe at the lys tour tomorrow i can pick up some more str and start another!
ok, onto another subject. season finales. i won't say much, and if you haven't watched then i suggest you don't read the comments. but here is my take on ugly betty - huh? what? omg! ugh! which = loved it. as for grey's - well they always say if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. that pretty much sums it up. that show is killing me. KILLING me i tell you. jeez. can anyone ever be happy. ever? i can only take so much. and not to give anything away, but ENOUGH with mer's family already. jeez. ok stopping now. sorry.
if vyt happens to be on your list of shops to visit for the lys tour, be sure to check out the markers i made for them

cute no? i also stocked them up on my regulars like peapods, ice cream cones etc.
ok off to bed. i need my rest for shopping tomorrow.

Super cute stitch markers (as usual!)
Great progress on that scarf, also.
I watch Grey's on the internet the next day so I haven't seen it, but I am almost dreading it. And yes, enough with Meredith's family, already. Let the girl move on!
grey's anatomy KILLED me. its like they want us to just stop watching, so they're going to torture us into it!
i love betty until the very end because omg WHY???
Congrats to Sarah! Cute stitch markers and the knitting is beautiful.
Grey's was painful. Check out the writer's blog - it's always interesting for me to see their take: http://www.greyswriters.com/
Such adorable stitch markers!
I was so dissappointed with Grey's. I'm glad someone else was too! The story line seems boring and as you mentioned, too melo-dramatic. Have fun on your tour!
I could not believe Grey's. I will rant today as we fondle yarn! I better go and get in the shower or I'll be late and since I'm driving...Oh, Greg is washing the car right now for us. What a dear. Says we have to yarn shop in style - even offered up his car!! Uh, no. I won't drive his car!!! See you soon!
Very very cute stitch markers! And the scarf is a beauty.
Those stitch markers are too cute! Love them. Have fun on the tour!
You've been tagged! The rules are on my blog
My guess was 71! I can not believe how close I was!
Grey's is upsetting me. I will always watch it, but why do they have to make it so hard.
to tell the truth i haven't been happy with tv lately either. I didn't like the grey's finale. I HATED er's finale and i've been a fan since it started.
i was sad the way gilmore girls ended, it seemed to rushed and weird for a series ending. and now there is talk of my beloved veronica mars getting the ax. altho they've been pushing relatiionships on that show and that's the LEAST most intresting part of all the show.
grrr
your markers are beautiful.
my ice cream is beautiful.
your scarf is scrumptious
Nice markers! I had to stop watching Greys a few episodes back, the whole George/Izzy thing ruined it for me.
I am frustrated with Grey's because I listen to the podcast and they completely led me to believe there was no way that they would play one of those fake out wedding games. ARgh. And I will never be able to believe Cali and George as a couple, or that Cali was picked for chief resident. Now come on.
Oh those stitch markers are cute! I stopped at my LYS to pick up a passport for the LYS tour today - I was surprised to hear there are quite a few ppl out there that are going to all 20 for the chance of $400 to spend on yarn. All the best to 'em :)
I don't watch grey's (mostly because I'm a devoted CSI watcher and they're on at the same time) but I do watch ugly betty - I hate season finales! There was so much going on on ugly betty I don't know what to make of it. And now we have to wait til next season - urgh!
I love Grey's and even though I didn't like the ending, it wasn't surprising to me from listening to the writer's podcasts. I was off by a bit with my guess for your scarf. I guess now you're done. I didn't even go all the way to 77 inches, just stopped at 69 inches, good enough for government work! (hahaha)
I am with you on the Grey's finale. Good, but not the best.
As for Betty, whoa! The last block was so amazing, esp with the musical element to it. Wow.
