tour yarn
ellen, naomi and i made quite a morning, day and night out of it yesterday. the lys tour was a lot of fun. i believe we made it to 6 stores and were gone from 9 am to 9 pm (with lunch, a ferry ride etc. in between). wanna see what i got?
mostly trekking (78,102,108,148) and socks that rock. with a skein of duets lemondstand and 2 skeins of sport weight lorna's in envy. also 3 balls of wool for a felting project in brown. i picked up a debbie bliss book too.
the tour runs today and tomorrow as well. i don't know if i will do anymore, what we did yesterday was plenty i think. although the hunt to see who had what trekking was kind of fun. i really do have an obsession for the stuff. BUT it is only for the trekking that is the 2 color twisted stuff (like the popular 100). i really dislike most of their other yarns (hate self patterning as you know!).
so that is my stash. i picked up farmhouse str to pair with my watermelon tourmaline for my next chevron scarf. i believe that is kind of the "it" color combination on the flickr group. funny that at one time i had farmhouse and sold it on ebay. nice. oh well.
i will have a small stash sale sometime this week (had to make room for the new stuff).

Love the STR! Where did you get it? I hit 2 south-end stores yesterday but neither carried it.
Oh my that stash is mighty nice! *envy envy envy* I've yet to acquire some STR on my own, but will someday. I went to 3 LYS today on the tour and didn't damage my wallet too much :) Sounds like you gals had a lot of fun.

Love all the stuff you got. The sock yarns are beautiful and the tour sounded like fun, but also tiring. 12 hours of yarn shore hopping, hmm! Fun, fun, fun.
The funny thing is usually after I do a lot of stash enhancement, I tend to get rid of some of my older stuff.
I wish I lived in the area; the lys tour sounds like so much fun! Great stash addition :)
Wow! You know, if I went on a tour of our LYS, it would only take me an afternoon. And maybe not even a whole afternoon. You are soooo lucky :) Of course, it is probably better this way because my wallet would not be very happy if there were more LYS in my area!
