more trekking socks complete!

well it is becoming more obvious that i need to get a new camera. check out this blurry shot. and that is with sharpening in photoshop! anyways, my trekking 100 socks are complete! this was my 4th or 5th pair of trekking socks. i purchased another skein on camano island a couple weeks back. for now, it will remain in the stash, i am going to cast on for my good to be girl yarntini socks next. any pattern ideas? i want something simple with just a hint of detail. ohh and maybe a picot edge. ideas?

Very pretty socks.

As for sock pattern suggestions, there were two sock patterns in the IK magazine, ( I think three issues ago), which I know one had a picot edge and not too much detail. I'll have to go through my magazines to tell you which one it was.

Picot edge would be great with your Yarntini colorway.

Very nice socks. The pico edge would be cute, very girley.

Gotta love the Trekking 100! I have a pair and I wear them again and again. The Trekking colorways are definitely some of my favorites. Enjoy!

The colorway is brilliant. I've been hearing a lot about Trekking lately and may have to seek some out.

Take a look at Amelia Riatte's (Anna's) Giotto sock pattern on her blog, My Fashionable Life. It may be just what you're looking for, and you can support an independent designer.

Yeah for you on your socks. Trekking is really, really WAY cool and I love the colors on those. woo hoo.

BTW, sweetfigs is right. You need to check out Amelia's stuff. She has some great socks and her other stuff is great too. You might like it.

Amy, Your yarntini would look great in the "Don't Put Them in the Dryer" pattern at p. 61 of the new Judith Durant book, "Never Knit Your Man a Sweater*...". I am knitting a pair in that pattern right now and love it -- just the right amount of detail (a simple cable in 4 equally spaced locations). I will have mine with me at the shop today (3-8) and again Saturday (noon-5), so stop in if you get the chance! Thanks, Bradford
