silk garden socks

well here are my finished silk garden lite socks. i absolutely love them. i did shorten the tan color band a bit by breaking off the yarn and starting again at a further point because i really wanted the green to be on the leg portion. other than that, they were pretty simple. i cast on 44 stitches on size 3's and just did a basic sock. i think they are my favorite pair to date, although they aren't my most practical as they don't fit into a standard shoe :) they are colorific!

"colorific" indeed! They look great, Amy. So comfy and warm and pretty. Nice job!http://suzannakt.typepad.com/fortheloveofknit/
those are great looking. i'll definitely need to make myself a pair.
2 skeins?
Great choice of yarn for socks! Who cares if you cannot wear shoes, they look fantastic :-D
I love them and I think they will make AWESOME "hanging around" socks!
I bought two balls of Silk Garden Lite last year to do the same thing - I wanted socks, and seeing your lovely pair makes me want to cast on right now! Did you use 2 balls (or more?)
I think my colorway is even the same one as yours!
Gorgeous! The perfect socks for Birks or Crocs, roomier sandals.
I absolutel love these socks! i definetely will need to make myself a pair! I just completed a ruffle edged shawl using to balls of silk garden light in color 2015. Now I have to make myself some matching socks:) How much yarn did you use 2 balls?
I *just* finished a pair of these in the same exact colorway! LOL Aren't they fun? Mine fit in clogs, but not much else. Oh well, they're still fun to wear.
i love these!
I have got to find some silk garden lite! I've only seen it once at my LYS. Beautiful.

You did an excellent job getting the two socks to match up-a tough job when using self striping yarn. (And what a fast knitter you are, too!) I can't wait to see what you make with the Yarntini yarn-sooo pretty!
Oh so lovely! Way to go Amy!
Beautiful - thanks for the inspiration!
I just love how you matched up the colors. Nice work. I'm a huge Noro fan, too.
Your blog is delightful.
Very pretty socks. I've never used Noro, but now I'm tempted to try!
Beautiful! This is a little off the subject, but I really need to knit some socks on something other than size 1 needles. I need a quicker knit.
colorific, indeed!
They're fab!
they're amazing! i love how the color bands are perfect & corresponding on both feet!
Those socks look great and so warm. They're exactly what I need to wear at night so I stop waking up when the heat goes off.
I'v never thought to use Noro for socks. What a great job you did matching up the colors. They look awesome!
You know, I am not a sock knitter at all, but these make me want a pair.. sigh!
Where can I find a pattern for these Silk Garden Lite socks? Im new to socks - struggling hard with the toe up method but loving it.
