more blue moon

yep i bought the stuff to make the urban bubble scarf. i am really excited to try it out, but it will have to wait until my christmas knitting is done. the color i picked up is bloodstone and i bought the matching lightweight str yarn to match.

the sock yarn will actually be knit into a beret i think. we'll see.
and for those who have asked, the kitties names are lily and cooper. :)
and one more thing, i am getting hit with my first round of spam comments ever (so much fun!). i may have to turn off commenting for a bit. if anyone has any tips or tricks on how to prevent them let me know. grrrrr....

Great kitty names! I hope you update us with pics.
As to the spam, it's really effective to turn on word verification. That's teh thing that requires you to type in a word before you post your comment. It's nice because it's not too tough on the commentor to do.
Hehehe. And now that I try to post, I see that you DO have it. :) Hope ithelps!
I've used Haloscan for commenting for almost three years. Only two or three spam comments have ever made it through.
I am looking forward to seeing your urban bubble scarf! I have been waiting for an inspiring new scarf pattern.
i use spam karma 2, but i have no idea if that works for blogger. i use wordpress, and really my husband does all the technical work for me :D
Ooooh - I really like the colors that you've selected! Thanks for sharing (and do let us know as you work on this if it's a fun project, or a labor of love...)
o my, that colorway is gaspalicious. If only I could handle the mohair - that would be a super fun scarf. I'm intrigued by the "ingredients" - do the balls stay in the scarf? You could turn that into a personal defense tool. THWACK!
i moved my hand done template to a blog software called expression engine and not only is it really easy to keep track of my whole url thru it, it's exccellent with spam. Expression engine is free as far as i know. and i found out about it from nathaniel who can be a web genius at times.
Like you, I have to wait until Christmas knitting projects are finished before starting the urban bubble scarf. I chose Puck's Mischief, which is a little darker than I expected, but should still be lovely.
I lovelovelove the BMF KidMo. It's so delicous to work with. Everyone in the house loves the spiraling scarves I make with this yarn.
Oh, loving the name Cooper, of course that's our cat's name too.
