tv talk
ok, so long story short, i am taking a break from my hat. i had to knit, un-knit, knit, un-knit and so on last night. i made a small mistake somewhere along the way and couldn't find it. turns out my first hunch was right so now i have to go back and un-knit again. i have a hard time with mistakes on short rows. confuses me way too much. i'm sure i'll pick it up again, i really want this to be done for the trip.
ok, so i am really posting because i LOVED last night's grey's. seriously. but what freaks me out even more? the preview for next weeks. what?? is that really how they are going to resolve this? WOW! it can't be. now, i used to read spoilers, but don't anymore so if you know secrets, please don't tell me. I don't want to be heartbroken. oh the drama. i wish mcdreamy would bring me tullys in the morning (yeah for tullys!).
i am also really enjoying ugly betty (did you see the bridget jones references last night? and the gal from the uk office!! it was dawn! i loved dawn!!). oh and brothers and sisters is on my yes list as well. the first episode of the nine was also decent so i'll keep that on my list for now. i am so very happy that you can watch the shows on abc.com. gotta love modern technology. what shows are you watching? i was disappointed by six degrees, but didn't really give it much of a chance.
and in regards to an older show, i believe bravo (or is it tbs?) is re-playing six feet under. omg. watch it. really it is the most amazing show. i only started to watch brothers and sisters because rachel griffiths (from sfu) is on it.
tonight is knit night at our lys. gotta find something that doesn't take much concentration to knit :)
a few marker sets remain. happy friday!

So...is now when I get to mention Grey's was filming downtown a couple of days ago? Yep...right buy the WEstin Seattle. And that just happens to be kitty corner to my office. We could stand at our windows and watch! My friend got a picture of Patrick Dempsey on his phone's camera too. It was very very cool. :)
The "wardrobe girl" in Ugly Betty is Ricky Gervais' co-star in Extras, too (Ashley Jensen). I guess Ricky makes the world go round? Glad to know I wasn't going crazy--I thought that was Dawn from Office UK. :)
I think we watch all of the same shows... lol
Grey's was GREAT!! For the first time since college I am watching a show with friends (not just husband) and it is so much better. We have a great time laughing and rewinding to watch again.
Recorded The NIne but didn't watch it yet. And somehow my DVR missed Brothers and Sisters this week, but it set to record it next.
Okay and WEEDS...you have to watch Weeds! It is soooo good.
Okay really. Seriously. It looks like Mer is preggo on the next episode. Seriously. Mer, pregnant. Oy. She's so dark and twisty. LOL!
As far as new shows my favorites are Ugly Betty and Heroes. Both are so well done. I also just started watching Six Feet Under on Bravo and am really liking it so far. I was just thinking how much better television is now then it used to be. I like TV way more than movies. And of course, Grey's is the best.
We are of the same TV brain!
I love all the shows that you discuss. I am a Grey's fanatic and I miss SFU so much. Yup, I am watching B&S for the same reason as you. Gotta love Brenda! I just keep waiting for Nate to pop out from behind a potted plant or something!
One mind, I tell ya!
Have you tried Men in Trees? I love it, as well. Kinda kooky, but really fun!
