i knit with grey's CONTEST!

i am in serious countdown mode as we head towards the season premiere on thursday. today i picked up the 2nd season on dvd. so the contest? simple. seriously.

how many episodes of the 2nd season will i watch between now (saturday night) and when i go to bed tomorrow (sunday night)?

leave a comment with your guess and some way to get a hold of you (blog or email). i will tell you that i am on the 2nd episode now with a night of knittitng with grey's ahead of me.

prize will be a set of misc stitch markers by me! (and some halloween candy for good measure) if more than one person gets it right, i'll draw a name.

good luck! and if you haven't taken the button yet, feel free.

**EDIT - there are 27 episodes in season 2 - also someone pointed out a grey's knitalong in the comments. how did i not know about this? of course, i am a slacker when it comes to knitalongs so i probably won't join up. but you know i'll be talking about grey's a lot here anyways. and just something i noticed while watching - nobody in seattle would ever say "mocha latte." seriously. it's just a mocha. or a latte. but not "mocha latte." not that anyone who writes for grey's reads this. but just thought i would put it out there. ok, back to grey's. night night.

Here's my wild guess...you'll watch about 5 episodes, maybe less.

I still need to get season II on DVD, I'm shocked I don't have it yet! I can't wait for Thursday night!!!!!

I was gonna go with 8 but it was taken so I will push to 9 since it hasnt been guessed yet. (Although I would probably do all 13 if I had them here *s*)

Is it Thursday yet? I will be in NC Thursday, but I have already advised the man we will be in front of the TV (and it is being Tivo'd back here of course) for the season opener!

I'm going to venture a guess at 6 (though I'd watch the whole flippin' season if it were me). Glad to know I'm not the only one scrambling to catch up on shows--I'm working on Grey's after just finishing up Veronica Mars last night.

Have you joined up the Grey's KAL?

I've not seen this show before, now that I keep seeing good reviews everywhere, I think I shall finally check it out!

My guess is ten. :)

Hmmmm...myself, I'd watch them all, but I'll go with 19. :) Hope you're having a great weekend, it sounds like you are! You'll have to join the knitalong, and have you seen the article in the latest Vogue titled "Grey's Anatomy". All the sweaters are grey and I think that I'm going to knit one for the knitalong.

If you are like me, you'd watch them all. (which is why I have not bought season 2 yet..). Hope you are having a fun weekend! (check out iTunes, they are giving away the season finale plus something extra talking about the show).

Hmmm....I'm guessing 8. I cannot wait for the season premier!! I'm actually taking a magic loop class on Thursdays, but thank goodness we have this week off. Could there be anything better to knit to? That season finale gets me every time. Christine - cbknits80@yahoo.com

I'm thinking 14.

(I'm also thinking that it sounds like a really fun weekend - so enjoy!)

I had to delete my previous comment because I foolishly submitted it before proofreading it. So many typos and misspellings (in a two sentence post, no less) that it looked like it was typed in Klingon (and may, in fact, have inadvertantly said something unspeakably rude in that language...
Not. awake. yet. Must. have. caffeine....

13...I guess thirteen. That has always been a lucky number for me. I haven't gotten to watch but one episode total. Maybe I need to "take back" the TV!

Seriously. You are a die hard. You will watch them ALL...muahahahhahahaha....
I'm such an enabler. If you are anything like me, you start watching and then say...oh, I'll just watch ONE more and then go to bed...oh ok, ONE more. LOL! No really, my guess is 10. I'm seriously freaking over Thursday...you know I'm in love with Grey's if I am giving up knit group that night to stay home and watch the premiere...unless I can convince the Mr. to get me a TiVo before then. ;)

I'm going to go big with 16 episodes. There's nothing better to do on a Sunday than watch a lot of Grey's and the episodes take less than an hour to watch on DVD.

10 I guess 10. Just random. I tried to watch a season of family guy while running ambulance one weekend. I made it through 10 episodes. Those were only half hour ones, but you never know. Either way, I want some of your stitch markers. Win or buy, I must have them!!!

I think that 14 episodes in two evenings are totally doable, so my guess is 14. I really need to go purchase that second season.

Mocha latte! Did we talk about this before? Because that has rubbed me the wrong way ever since I first heard it, and I've griped about this with several people, I'm sure. Is there some place in the country where this beverage exists? I saw a mochaccino on a menu in LA this weekend, and that's close to being a mocha latte. Gah, the annoyance! Can't wait for the premiere... :)

My friend just reacently got me hooked on Grey's. The "mocha-latte" thing has been driving me crazy! So glad you posted it on here. I am not alone!
I probably have you beat on the number of episodes! See you soon!
