super bowl bound seattle
in honor of our city's major accomplishment tonight i will be heading to the yarn shop tomorrow in search of the perfect blue and green yarn. a stocking cap for my dad and a scarf for me are in order! just a little something to show team spirit. GO SEAHAWKS!! Detroit Rock HAWK City it is!

Check for some Lorna's Laces in the Seahawks Colorway. I got the last skein over here in Silverdale. I got the worsted weight but I think that it also comes in the sock wieght as well. It is really soft and includes all the colors. GO HAWKS!!!
YEAH seattle! First superbowl ever! My dad is a Pitts fan, so it should be a great game. I love the cable bags, very, very cute.
DH was so happy the hawks won yesterday. He's ordinarily a Raider fan, but he figured it should be a West Coast team to go to the superbowl.

I was torn away from the mother-land (The sacred land of JP Patches, Captain Puget and Stan Boreson) in the mid-60's and forced to move to Bronco-land. In '76 I got the first of many Seahawk license plate holders. Which would last about 6 months in Denver before someone would take a crowbar or something to it and try to tear it off. I'd have various amounts of plastic frame hanging from the bolts. I moved back to (200 miles east of)the mother land in '79 where it is easier to get Seahawk doo-dads.
Well Bronco's, we're going to Detroit and you're not! So there. (though a Bronco/Seahawk game would have been fun)

We will be cheering for the Seahawks in the Lovie houshold. People in Texas have major beef with the Steelers. You cable bag is adorable. I have the yarn to knit one, just not the time.
